About Bébé Voyage
The Story of Bébé Voyage
The one constant of having a baby is change. Often, before you become parents those who have already experienced the miracle of parenthood warn you about the impending changes on your “oh-so-chic-and-carefree” lifestyle. Once your little bundle of joy arrives, you realize they weren’t exaggerating. Change is the only constant in your life.
But Bébé Voyage founders, Juliet Perrachon and Marianne Perez de Fransius did not believe that motherhood meant the end of their travel-centric lifestyle. Instead, they felt that they could and should embrace their old passion and pass it on to their own children. As global citizens, both Marianne and Juliet have lived all over the world. Their families and friends are spread worldwide and traveling is not just a luxury in their life, but a necessity.
As the two co-founders made their way through the first steps of parenthood, they realized they were not alone. There is a world of new parents having similar experiences, and looking for similar information. What started as a book concept for Marianne and Juliet (whose connection has spanned generations and continents), evolved into Bébé Voyage.
Their Goal: Connect Globetrotting Parents!
Bébé Voyage has grown into a community that connects parents traveling with children; trading resources, tips and (mis) adventures to ease and enrich their family travel experiences. But Bébé Voyage’s purpose is much larger than that: Empowering children to be curious, open-minded, global citizens and lifelong travelers by exposing them to new cultures and experiences to build a better, more peaceful world for all.
As parents, we understand that travel can be stressful and frustrating. By building a community where globetrotting parents can share and support each other through their travel experiences, we promote sophisticated, family-friendly experiences within the travel industry. ~ Bon voyage, dear friends!

Co-founder | President
Juliet loves bringing people together. Whether it’s at a dinner party at her home or introducing friends who live in the same city overseas, Juliet gets a rush out of connecting people. She couldn’t be more thrilled to be doing just this for Bébé Voyage. Juliet is French-American and has resided and traveled all over the world. While obtaining her Bachelor’s degree at the University of Pennsylvania, Juliet had the opportunity to spend a semester in Buenos Aires. Afterwards, she worked in the film and television business in Paris, Los Angeles, and San Francisco. Later, she taught English in northern Thailand, taking the opportunity to discover Southeast Asia. In pursuing her Master’s degree in Marketing and Creativity, Juliet moved to London where she attended ESCP Europe and met her husband. While in London, Juliet developed her expertise in digital content strategy. She has worked for brands in various industries, with a concentration in travel. Juliet now resides in Chicago with her husband, a Frenchman, son Felix and daughter Alexia.
Kendal’s love of traveling really began when she met her husband back in 2012. He took her on several whirlwind weekend getaways, and they haven’t stopped taking trips since. After graduating with a Marketing and International Studies degree from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business, Kendal worked in financial services for a few years before taking a break professionally and moving to Austin, Texas, to raise her son. A year spent traveling and exploring the South really sealed the deal — traveling with her children is what she truly loves to do. The quality time and adventures shared on these trips are the best way to educate children about the world around them. Kendal currently resides in Indianapolis, Indiana, with her military husband, Clifton, and their two young sons, Hagan and Dorian. They get most excited about partaking in new culinary experiences, but are admittedly beach bums as well. After conquering much of the U.S., they are looking forward to traveling internationally this year with both kids in tow.
Mathilde Vital Durand
Mathilde is the overly multitasking mom of a little boy who loves to travel. Her passion is to connect people together and being part of a community. She caught the travel bug as a young girl and has not stopped travelling since then: Asia, Europe, Africa, Americas… she never feels more herself then when she’s on the go. Born and raised in France, she has moved around, including Sweden, Sao Paulo and now in Chicago. Originally trained as an attorney, she has now become a storyteller and enjoys sharing her passion for travel with children through stories. Her latest family travels included an RV trip to California – quite the adventure – and a few days in Mexico. She dreams of discovering Alaska and Costa Rica next!
