Education at Home
Bébé Voyage has many resources related to Education at Home. Check out our blog content below. But where you’ll get the most up-to-date information on Education at Home is from our community of traveling parents that are constantly sharing experiences and providing support. We’d love to have you as part of Club Bébé Voyage!

This month, we are thrilled to be launching our very first conversation on the topic of educating our children from home. 2020 has been a year of massive upheaval on so many fronts–one of the major impacts has been on education. Overnight, parents found themselves having to be teachers–trying to at least–learning how to navigate the complexities of online learning. Teachers also have been learning how to manage how to teach via a screen.
Homeschoolers, unschoolers, and worldschoolers in many ways have been pushing to revolutionize the increasingly outdated education system. Above all else, the disconnect between a panel of five moms who are also professional and bona fide educators is meant to put things in perspective. We explore how this moment in time will impact the educational system. More concretely, we share actual tips and tricks to help parents learn from home.

Our panel of experts includes:
Monica Silvestro lives in Rockville, Maryland (USA) with her husband, two kids, and their dog Penny. Monica is currently a special education Paraeducator with past experience as a preschool teacher with a focus on curriculum development and nutrition education. Monica’s expertise is the socio-emotional development of early learners. You can find her on instagram @justanotherpreschoolteacher and on YouTube in “10 Minute Preschool.”
Tiana Kubik has a Master of Science in Early Childhood Education from the Erikson Institute, in Chicago. After teaching Pre-K-Kindergarten for almost ten years, Tiana moved on to run a Chicago-based photography company with her husband, with kids in tow for the last eight years. For the last 2 years, they have been exploring North America through full-time living, learning and traveling in a self-converted 2016 Sprinter Van.
Juliette Koran is a freelance fashion/prop stylist turned stay at home mom and now, like many others, attempting to navigate homeschooling for the first time.
Marta Conte is the Editor-in-Chief of Bébé Voyage. Marta is an avid traveler, food lover and parent to one 4 year old kiddo. They hold a BA in English Literature and are currently studying remotely with the London School of Journalism.
Juliet Perrachon is the co-founder of Bébé Voyage. She is the mother of a 1st grader and a 4 year-old preschooler. She is also a French teacher.
