Bébé's Top Paris Hotels For Traveling Families
Le Bristol Paris
This luxury hotel is a short walk from sites like Petit Palais, Grand Palais, Place de la Concorde, Arc de Triomphe, and more. It’s biggest selling feature? The complimentary children’s club! (And it’s conveniently located adjacent to the spa, giving you a chance to relax and unwind.) Hippolyte, the hotel’s signature gardening rabbit–named after the hotel’s founder Hippolyte Jammet–greets young guests as they arrive. The stuffed animal comes with a personalized welcome booklet featuring ideas for walks around Paris and various fun family activities. Family rooms feature children’s bath products, baby bed linens, and a menu created especially for young foodies.
Hotel Square Louvois
A great value for the money and in a prime location is Hotel Square Louvois Paris. This hotel lends a more contemporary and romantic feel. Children are most welcome, but they do not offer rollaway beds. The rooms are fairly large for Paris and affordable. The staff is friendly and there’s a small but lovely pool located in the cellar. The location can’t be beat–the hotel is in the 2nd Arrondissement, walking distance to the Louvre and the Opéra.
The triple room at Villa Modigliani is huge! They also have family rooms with bunk beds and boast no extra charges for two children 12 and under when staying in a room with two parents. The hotel is super reasonably priced and located in Montparnasse, a short 10-minute walk to Jardin du Luxembourg! They have a nice “cour intérieur” and a back garden, providing a nice little outdoor space for kids to run around if you need a break but can’t make it all the way to the park.

The things to do in Paris with kids vary widely. Paris has exceptional public parks with great playgrounds. Omnipresent crêperies that are sure to be appreciated by young travelers and their parents. Many museums and top attractions in Paris for families are stroller accessible; for preschoolers and older children they also often have special activities, workbooks or exhibits planned.
Paris is a city known for its fabulous food, and you will find a wide array of cuisines and restaurants. The Paris restaurant scene is booming, and you will find ‘Brasseries’ (traditional French diners) at almost every corner, along with independently owned cafés and restaurants. At busier intersections, you can find chain restaurants and fast food. All restaurants are non-smoking indoors and many have designated smoking areas at outside tables. In general, restaurants in Paris are baby and child friendly. There might not be much space to have your stroller at your table though, so be prepared to either fold it up or leave it wherever the waiter finds room for it.
