This week, Bébé Voyage is taking a tour around Los Angeles and exploring its many amazing sites with our Ambassador, Anne McGregor, to discover the city’s must-dos from a local.
Best breakfast spot in Los Angeles
We love eating breakfast at DuPar’s at the Farmer’s Market as they make delicious buttery and fluffy pancakes. We also love Poppy + Rose in downtown LA for Chicken and Waffles on a weekend morning after we visit the LA Flower Market.
We are so lucky with the weather in Los Angeles that we often just head to the beach. A family favorite is Annenberg Community Beach. They have a lovely playground and a cafe on the beach. Very family-friendly.
Lunch at Grand Central Market
If we haven’t packed a picnic for the beach, then we LOVE getting something to eat at In and Out burger or take a trip downtown to the Grand Central Market. At the weekend we like to explore one of the many farmer’s markets that pop up in the different neighborhoods.
An afternoon to remember
We’re lucky that there are so many fun things to do in LA. We love spending the afternoon in Griffith Park as there are a number of playgrounds and a few hiking trails. Another favorite spot is the Kids Space Museum in Pasadena. It is great for kids of all ages, there are so many exhibits and things to explore.
Our late afternoons/evenings often vary, sometimes we like to go for a swim or hang out in our backyard and get ready for a BBQ. Other times we end up exploring a new park and take a picnic with us for dinner.
Off the beaten path
Tide Pools at Leo Carrillo State Park, along the Malibu coast, is the perfect spot to enjoy the outdoors. Its tide pools, coastal caves, and reefs offer plenty of exploring opportunities. You can even do some backcountry hiking and rest in the shade of the giant sycamores.
We hope you enjoyed your tour around Los Angeles! Join us for other ambassador spots and learn about where the locals go!
